Our farmers, who all have the Agri Confiance® certification, are passionate about protecting our heritage by looking after an area with a healthy and regenerative biotope for future generations.
In 1990, our Cooperative was the first French company in the food industry to achieve ISO 9002 certification, for the Isigny-sur-Mer site’s quality system. In 1992, it was the Sainte-Mère-Église site’s turn to achieve it. Our Cooperative currently holds the 2015 version of ISO 9001 certification.
In 1997, the Cooperative obtained organic farming [AB – Agriculture Biologique] certification, which guarantees that every product consists of at least 95% ingredients produced using organic methods and that they are GMO-free.
In 2009, Isigny Sainte-Mère obtained ISO 14001 certification, underscoring the company’s serious commitment to striking a balance between expanding its business and reducing its environmental impact.
The ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications also demonstrate the Cooperative’s CSR strategy, which aims to fully integrate current environmental issues into its business growth.
Since 2000, Isigny Sainte-Mère has held Agri Confiance© certification. This certification was developed by cooperative farmers and guarantees transparency. It also ensures the implementation of sustainable farming practices, guaranteeing high-quality products for professionals in the food industry.
The Agri Confiance© certification, which supplements the ISO 9001 standard, ensures the safety and traceability of finished products, taking into account the herd’s feed, farm hygiene, animal welfare, the environment and milk collection.
All our teams are dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of the 2.5 million babies that we feed every day.
Full control over quality is the focus of our attention, with more than 3,000 checks performed on each batch, from the moment we receive ingredients and packaging right through to the dispatch of our finished products.
We guarantee complete traceability both upstream and downstream, from the milk collected to the bottle of every baby. The batch number can be used to track all stages of the product’s life, as well as the 250 tests performed on the finished product.

We act in full accordance with European legislation (as per the delegated regulation (EU) 2016/127) and the legislation of the countries where the products we produce are sold. Compliance with these legislative frameworks as well as the
testing and Research and Development systems implemented within our Cooperative, combined with the experience and specific skills of our teams plus detailed knowledge of the market, means we have a thorough understanding of the changes in production methods regarding food for infants, young children and specific populations.
With a new ultra-modern testing laboratory, our Cooperative rigorously and thoroughly checks all the production stages to guarantee the product’s complete safety.
Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, we guarantee a high level of quality and food safety for the products produced within our Cooperative.
Isigny Sainte-Mère strives to continuously improve CSR aspects through its procurement policies and environmental measures both upstream and downstream. This overall approach has been corroborated and monitored through the award of an EcoVadis Gold medal.
